Harvard Natural History Museum

Went sketching at the Harvard Natural History Museum today with a bunch of folks from the Boston Sketch Meetup group. I'll tell ya, dead things are far easier to draw than their live counterparts. That llama stayed still the WHOLE TIME. Hahaha.
Bengal Tiger:

Llama:

Indian Fruit Bat:

Grant's Gazelle (yeah I got bored of rendering the horns, so I wandered around the rest of the museum instead):

Tomorrow I'll be photographing LIVE animals at the Southwick zoo! Woohoo!

Wow these drawings are very lovely and elegant. I love the soft pencil line work. Beautiful and intriguing art work.
